DISTRICT EVENTS & NEWS

CLUSTER CAMPMEETINGS – 2010 Charge Conferences

In recent years we have gathered with sisters and brothers in clusters to eat together, worship together, and conduct our annual charge conference business.  This has been a time of “holy conferencing” as United Methodists who often do not know their United Methodist neighbors get together to share in fellowship and worship.  Many very positive comments have been made/received by clergy and laity – recognizing that as we live into the future we will need to find new ways to be together in our common witness of reaching out in the name of Jesus Christ to transform the world.  Building on worshipping together and celebrating our common yet diverse ministries and missions, we look forward to campmeeting gatherings again this Fall.  In our gathering may we re-connect with the incredible power of relationship with God and with each other.
